Operate nuclear medicine equipment to create diagnostic images and administer radiopharmaceuticals. Evaluate the images to determine their suitability for diagnostic purposes. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from undue exposure to radiation. Maintain patient records and radiopharmaceutical usage logs accurately. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to relay relevant findings or concerns. Provide compassionate care and reassurance to patients undergoing nuclear imaging procedures. Proficiency in handling and maintaining nuclear imaging equipment Strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals and their safe administration Ability to interpret nuclear imaging for diagnostic purposes Excellent communication and patient care skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
