Performs preventative maintenance as required. Always assays or calibrates new reagents, kits, and other material before put into use.  Documents reagents and kits when opened and placed into use. Maintains orderly and efficient arrangement of equipment and supplies in area worked.  Keeps work area clean, neat and well organized.  Cleans up after work is done and leaves counter well organized after shift is complete. Always notifies appropriate supervisory person of problems or questions that may arise in any department. Qualifications What You Will Need: Associate’s Degree Science degree meeting state licensure requirements (64B3-5.003). Minimum two years’ experience. State of Florida - Technologist Licensed in Microbiology, Hematology, Chemistry and Immunology. Job Summary: Performs work in one or more divisions or areas of the clinical laboratory to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
