Job Description Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to serve as a critical link between our customers and our development team. This individual will ensure our clients' needs are met, define project requirements, and oversee the design and development of software solutions. Acting as a business analyst, a project manager, and as a developer, this role plays a vital part in translating customer requests into effective software solutions while fostering collaboration throughout the development process. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed. Define high-level project requirements for software modifications or new development initiatives. Collaborate with the development team to establish project scope, objectives, timelines, and assist with project development and testing. Manage and oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to our development methodology. Conduct periodic meetings with customers to review progress, gather feedback, and adjust project specifications accordingly. Facilitate ongoing customer engagement throughout the development process, ensuring iterative improvements align with their expectations. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to bridge gaps between business needs and engineering execution. Our development methodology: We utilize an integrated design and development environment, allowing rapid prototyping, iterative revisions, and seamless transformation into fully operational business applications. Our development methodology enables dynamic development, where solutions can be refined in real time based on customer feedback - without relying on traditional programming languages. Our solutions follow a client/server architecture, with web-based client software as the primary interface. Our solutions may also include RESTful APIs, enabling external access to our server-based solutions and facilitating interoperability with third-party applications. This facilitates integration of mobile applications and web pages into our solutions, ensuring a flexible and responsive user experience. This approach fosters agile-like flexibility while prioritizing continuous customer collaboration and efficient adaptability throughout the development lifecycle. The person in this role will play a key part in executing this methodology to ensure successful project outcomes. Qualifications: A strong candidate will have experience designing and developing business application software. Strong understanding of requirements gathering, rapid prototyping, and business application design, particularly in non-traditional development environments. Experience in business analysis, project engineering, software development, project management, and software engineering is highly valuable. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on customer interaction. Ability to collaborate cross-functionality and manage multiple projects effectively. Educational background in computer science, information systems, business administration, engineering, or a related field is preferred by not required.
