Job Description:
As a healthcare leader, HCA Healthcare is looking for a
dedicated Registered Nurse ECMO Specialist PRN to join our skilled
team in providing exceptional care and specialized treatment for
patients requiring Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). In
this role, you will operate advanced ECMO equipment, closely
monitor patient status, and adjust treatment plans under the
guidance of ECMO protocols. This position demands a high level of
precision and empathy, conducive to HCA’s mission of improving
human life. Operate and manage ECMO machines during shift. Monitor
patient's physiological responses and adjust ECMO settings
accordingly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to
formulate effective, patient-centered care plans. Educate patients
and families on treatment protocols and expected outcomes. Maintain
accurate medical records and document patient care services.
Expertise in ECMO machine operation Strong critical thinking and
problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stress environment

certification (ELS course or equivalent)
