Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location: Sanford, FL Schedule: Full-Time
• Nights (Rotating Weekends) Position Summary: We are seeking an
experienced and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our critical
care team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical
excellence, sound judgment, and compassion in providing
comprehensive care to critically ill patients. This role requires
strong assessment skills, rapid decision-making, and the ability to
thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key
Responsibilities: Provide continuous monitoring and assessment of
patients with life-threatening conditions. Utilize advanced
clinical judgment to manage complex patient care independently and
effectively. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure
coordinated, patient-centered care. Educate patients and families
on treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs. Maintain
accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital
policies and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Current RN
license (Florida or compact state). Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU
experience in an acute care setting required. Graduate of an
accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current BLS and ACLS
certifications (or must obtain within required time frame). NIH
Stroke Scale and PALS certification required within 6 months of
hire. Unit Details: 16-bed Intensive Care Unit Collaborative,
supportive clinical team with opportunities for professional growth
