HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our renowned healthcare team. In this role, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create detailed images of the body used by physicians to diagnose and treat conditions. Operate MRI equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and clarity Select appropriate imaging techniques, and adjust the machine to optimize image quality Maintain patient safety by adhering to safety protocols concerning magnetic fields Document all exams and ensure the thoroughness of information for physician analysis Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to determine the best imaging techniques Perform routine maintenance and checks on MRI equipment to ensure operational efficiency Manage the scheduling of patients and maintain detailed records of imaging procedures Proficiency in operating MRI equipment Strong understanding of radiology and anatomy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Valid state licensure as a radiologic technologist CPR certification preferred
