Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Physical
Therapist to join our compassionate team, where we value your
expertise in patient care and offer opportunities for you to
display your passion in a dynamic, supportive environment. As part
of our rehabilitation staff at one of our inpatient facilities or
through home-based service, you will work with a variety of
patients to deliver physical therapy and rehabilitative services
that foster patient independence and recovery. This role requires a
deep commitment to patient-centered care, an understanding of
diverse medical conditions, and a desire to achieve superior
outcomes. Evaluate patient conditions and develop appropriate
physical intervention plans. Work collaboratively with healthcare
professionals to tailor interventions. Implement physical therapy
interventions effectively, monitoring patient progress. Guide
patients and families on therapy processes, setting realistic
goals. Maintain patient documentation, ensuring compliance with
federal, state, and provider regulations. Participate in ongoing
education and professional development. Proven expertise in
developing and executing patient therapy plans Strong interpersonal
and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as
part of a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of regulatory standards
governing care delivery and documentation Proficient in using
medical software for patient management Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapist license
in the state of practice BLS/CPR certification Optional: Membership
in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
