QualificationsWe are seeking a dynamic ICU Step Down RN to join our
team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for
patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments. In
this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of
situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of
a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while
providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative
manner.In this role you comprehensive data pertinent to the patient
s health or situationAdvocate for patients as part of the
interdisciplinary teamUse clinical judgment to manage delivery of
patient care safely and effectivelyMonitor critical vital signs
enabling intervention of life threatening situationsEducate
patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments,
providing patients and their families with support throughout their
stay.Job Requirements:1 years of Recent Acute Care ICU Stepdown RN
experience. *would be interested in speaking with candidates that
have 3 years of Cardiac PCU or Multisystem PCU experience!Florida
RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact
license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after
relocation. Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, BSN is
preferredNIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of
employment startBasic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must
be obtained within 30 days of startAmerican Heart Association ACLS
Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start
date Additional Information: Beds: ICU stepdown has 15 beds Nurse
to Patient Ratio: 3 to 1 ratio sometimes can go to 4 It s a true
stepdown unit takes drips and long-term vents.Description for Job
