Job Title: Pediatric Endocrinologist Location: Jacksonville, FL
Department: Pediatric Specialty Care Reports To: Chief Medical
Officer / Pediatric Medical Director Position Overview: We are
seeking a dedicated and board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologist
to join our multidisciplinary team in Jacksonville, Florida. This
role offers the opportunity to provide expert care to children and
adolescents with endocrine disorders in a collaborative and
patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will be
passionate about improving pediatric health outcomes and committed
to clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage
endocrine disorders in pediatric patients, including diabetes,
growth abnormalities, thyroid conditions, adrenal and pituitary
disorders, and puberty-related issues. Develop individualized
treatment plans and provide ongoing care and education to patients
and families. Collaborate with pediatricians, dietitians, diabetes
educators, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
Participate in hospital rounds, outpatient clinics, and
telemedicine consultations as needed. Maintain accurate and timely
documentation using EMR systems. Engage in quality improvement
initiatives and clinical research (if desired). Participate in call
coverage and departmental meetings. Qualifications: MD or DO from
an accredited medical school. Board certification in Pediatrics and
Pediatric Endocrinology. Active Florida medical license or
eligibility to obtain one. Completion of a Pediatric Endocrinology
fellowship. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to evidence-based care and continuous learning.
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with insulin pump therapy and CGM
technology. Experience in a hospital or academic setting is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
