Job Description:

To strengthen our growing team, Avanze is looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager with a background in driving the strategic direction of our technology products. You will synthesize a product vision and partner with customer and engineering teams to define the product features and workflows of our title products.Responsibilities

• Ideation: Solicits ideas for new products from others and contributes ideas for new products. Collects information on new product ideas, analyzes them, and helps evaluate new product ideas.
• Requirements Development: Works with the team to develop a comprehensive set of requirements that address all defined customer needs. Communicates product requirements effectively to team members to ensure a complete understanding. Manages product requirements to minimize changes once development is underway.
• Product Positioning & Strategy: Develops a comprehensive set of requirements that address all defined customer needs. Communicates product requirements effectively to team members to ensure a complete understanding.
• Product Roadmaps: Contributes to, develops, and maintains product roadmaps and other representations of the product line plan and strategy. Ensures roadmaps and related documents are up to date.
• Market Analysis: Maintains constant surveillance of the market and effectively identifies customer needs and trends.
• Competitive Analysis: Maintains awareness of competitive products and capabilities. Actively collects and analyzes data on competitors and organizes this data into meaningful information.
• Customer Needs: Develops an understanding of customer needs, balancing information collected with risks and market potential.
• Analyze and Rationalize Product Portfolio: Conducts a critical review of the product line to identify actions to discontinue poor performing products or products that require repositioning.
• Communicate Product Plans & Strategy with Management: Effectively communicates product plans and strategy with management to obtain required decisions and resources.
• Project Management: Works effectively with development team members to plan projects, provide guidance, and monitor results.
• Gather Customer Feedback: Gathers feedback from prototypes or mock-ups and communicates results to appropriate team members.
• Manage Usability Testing, Beta Testing, & Test Marketing: Manages usability testing, beta testing, and test marketing programs, assessing results and taking corrective action.
• Support Customers and Channel Partners: Supports requests for customer proposals and presentations, ensuring all relevant materials exist to support the product.
• Coordinate & Manage Product Launch: Effectively coordinates and manages the launch of new products.
• Promote Product: Proactively promotes the product to customers, analysts, social media, and the press.
• Management Reporting: Provides regular reporting for management-level operational reviews.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Project/Product Manager
  • 4+ years of experience in the Mortgage/Title Industry
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching products
  • Experience creating simple and intuitive user interfaces, with the ability to create examples through wireframes and mock-ups
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical background experience preferred
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past
