Job Description The Opportunity The Applied Aviation Sciences
Department of the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical
University (ERAU) in Daytona Beach, FL invites applications for
non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Air Traffic Management.
This role requires a candidate with extensive operational air
traffic control experience directly supporting our B.S. in Air
Traffic Management. The position involves teaching a variety of air
traffic control courses, ranging from an introductory air traffic
basics to specialized terminal radar, enroute radar/non-radar, or
VFR control tower courses (depending on experience) using
state-of-the-art simulation equipment. Basic teaching requirements
are 12 undergraduate credit hours (four courses) per semester. The
position and contract are expected to begin in August 2026. About

qualifications: FAA Air Traffic Control Specialist Certification
