Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and managing
landscaping operations within the accommodation and food services
industry, specifically in the Orlando and Lake Buena Vista, FL
areas. This position ensures that all outdoor spaces are maintained
to the highest standards, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and safety
of the properties. The supervisor will lead a team of landscapers,
coordinating daily tasks, scheduling, and resource allocation to
meet project deadlines and quality expectations. They will also
collaborate with management to plan and implement landscaping
projects that align with the company’s brand and environmental
standards. Ultimately, the role is pivotal in creating inviting and
well-maintained outdoor environments that contribute positively to
guest experiences and operational excellence. Minimum
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3
years of experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance, with at
least 1 year in a supervisory role. Valid driver’s license with a
clean driving record. Knowledge of landscaping equipment,
horticulture practices, and safety standards. Ability to read and
interpret landscaping plans and schedules. Preferred
Qualifications: Certification in landscaping, horticulture, or
related field. Experience working in the accommodation and food
services industry or similar hospitality environments. Familiarity
with irrigation systems and pest management. First aid and CPR
certification. Proficiency with landscaping management software or
digital scheduling tools. Responsibilities: Supervise and
coordinate daily landscaping activities, ensuring timely and
efficient completion of tasks. Manage and mentor a team of
landscapers, providing training, guidance, and performance
evaluations. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for lawns,
gardens, trees, and other outdoor features. Monitor the use and
maintenance of landscaping equipment and tools to ensure safety and
functionality. Collaborate with property management and other
departments to plan and execute landscaping projects. Ensure
compliance with environmental regulations and company policies
related to landscaping and grounds maintenance. Maintain inventory
of landscaping supplies and order materials as needed to support
operations. Conduct regular inspections of outdoor areas to
identify issues and implement corrective actions promptly. Skills:
The required skills enable the Landscaper Supervisor to effectively
lead and organize the landscaping team, ensuring that all tasks are
completed efficiently and to a high standard. Strong knowledge of
horticulture and equipment operation is essential for planning
maintenance and troubleshooting issues on-site. Communication and
leadership skills are used daily to motivate the team, provide
clear instructions, and resolve conflicts. The ability to interpret
landscaping plans and schedules ensures that projects align with
design specifications and timelines. Preferred skills such as
familiarity with irrigation systems and software tools enhance the
supervisor’s capability to optimize resource use and maintain
