level of autonomy, uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained
through education and experience, to develop and execute
comprehensive investment strategies that align with the trust
company's goals, overseeing the management of client trust
portfolios, conducting thorough market research, managing risk, and
leading a team of investment professionals that work closely with
advisors, all while adhering to strict regulatory and compliance
fiduciary standards. Leads large and/or multiple projects with
significant scope and impact. Works independently on difficult
assignments that are broad in nature requiring originality and
ingenuity with appreciable latitude for unreviewed actions or
decisions. Provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems.
Results are evaluated at agreed upon milestones for effectiveness
in achieving specified results. Extensive contact with internal and
external customers is required to identify research, analyze and
resolve complex issues.Essential Duties and
ResponsibilitiesStrategy, Compliance and Risk Management
- Create and implement an attractive trust investment platform
that allows advisors to maintain deep and meaningful relationships
with clients while providing sound fiduciary investment management
and oversight that adheres to fiduciary asset management
standards.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements and
fiduciary standards.
- Review, update and maintain investment policies and procedures
as necessary to align to the risk profile and risk tolerance of the
trust company.
- Establish and maintain robust risk management frameworks to
mitigate potential investment risks within client portfolios.
- Partner closely with Compliance and Internal Audit to identify
and remediate opportunities for improvement.
- Participate and or lead our investment committees at both trust
entities.
- Stay informed about changes in federal and state regulations
and industry best practices.Team Leadership and Partnerships
- Recruit, lead and mentor a team of investment professionals
that embrace the firm's core values and collaborate with advisors
and their clients.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the
investment team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with other senior RJT
leaders to ensure seamless fiduciary administrative and investment
management services to trust clients.
- Work closely with the Private Client Group leaders to ensure we
are delivering on the expectations of our advisors and implement
new and innovative strategies to address current challenges or
obstacles.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with regulators on all
exams and notable issues and recommendations.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous
improvement.
- Work closely with the Asset Management Group at RJ to ensure we
are leveraging all of the firm's resources to better serve our
clients and advisors, this includes the frequent review of product
trends and offerings that may be suitable for the trust investment
platform as well as research and other due diligence resources
available to the trust company.
- Represent RJTNA and RJTCNH on firm-wide investment
initiatives.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of
- Extensive experience in investment management, particularly
within the trust company environment.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies,
and economic trends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate
investment opportunities and manage risk.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively
convey complex investment concepts to clients and advisors.
- Proven leadership abilities to manage and motivate an
investment team.
- CFA Charterholder or equivalent professional designation
preferred.Skill in

- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university with a
minimum of fifteen (10) years of experience in financial services
with relevant fiduciary investments background. At least five (5)
years of leadership experience.
