We are looking for a dedicated MRI Technologist like you to be a
part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsProvides care for
patients requiring MRI procedures. Performs all duties directly
involved with procedures utilizing MRI for diagnostic procedures.
Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce
diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice
standards, and relay images along with pertinent clinical
information to the physician for interpretation. Assists with
inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes backup call as
assigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage.All employees

safety, follow established policies, and adhere to all state and
federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, and
National Patient Safety standards.Responsible for the provision of
high quality exams while working in a team oriented highly
productive and complex environment. -Responsible for quality
assurance activities on technical equipment and working with
appropriate parties to resolve image quality issues. -Demonstrates
knowledge of MRI Safety regulations and compatible surgical
devices. -Communicates effectively with patient care team to answer
the associated clinical care questions.What qualifications you will
need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of
employment start date
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required; Advanced level in
MRI is required within 6 months of hire date
- Florida State Registered General Radiographer
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
Completion of MRI training.
- 6 months related experienceHCA Florida North Florida Hospital
